OVERVIEW OF DDSWMM
DDSWMM is a stand alone model
which includes the simulation of the rainfall-runoff process, flow routing,
storage analysis, etc. It does not, however, simulate water quality. It
can also be interfaced with the EXTRAN model for the analysis of complex

for the design/analysis of storage facilities for the purpose of runoff

calculated by other models, and has the flexibility of simulating a wide
range of conditions, including external inflows (e.g., from upstream developments),
roofs directly connected, roof storage, etc.
major system sub-model, which routes
the runoff that exceeds the capacities of storm inlets through the major
system network, calculates the depth of water on the streets, and analyses
street flooding at depressions, if any, etc.
inlet sub-model, which calculates
the inlet capture and determines inlet control requirements, if requested.
